Help Is Ahead For Motorists In Brownsburg

THE INDIANAPOLIS STAR - Josh Duke

BROWNSBURG -- Two key Brownsburg street projects scheduled to begin next year should help traffic flow on the east side of town. The projects, estimated to cost about $1 million each, include a realignment of Odell Street at U.S. 136 and the completion of a nearly milelong gap of Northfield Drive from just south of U.S. 136 to Airport Road. The Odell Street project has come in well under budget. The project was estimated at $2.2 million this year, but the price tag will be less than half of that, due primarily to lower construction material costs, said Todd Barker, the town's director of planning and building.
