Scholarships
Thanks to the generous and ongoing donations of ICA members, we have two scholarship programs available to students pursuing a degree in the construction field and who are attending or planning to attend an Indiana college or university with the intent to work in construction in the state of Indiana after graduation:
1. Building Division – Indiana Construction Association (ICA)
Scholarship Fund, and
2. Highway, Heavy and Utility Division – Indiana Construction
Association (ICA) Scholarship Fund
Note: These scholarships do not consider financial need, but are set up to help and encourage students interested in pursuing a career in construction. When applying, applicants do not need to fill in the financial information requested during the application process.
Both scholarships are managed by the Central Indiana Community Foundation (CICF). For more information, visit the CICF website, click on “SCHOLARSHIP” and then follow the steps described.

Internships
We urge students who are enrolled in a construction curriculum at an Indiana college or university and are interested in an internship to contact ICA via email at ica@inconstruction.org or phone (317) 472-6777. Our contractor members often hire college students for the summer when they have an opening. An internship allows the contractor to learn the work habits of the student while receiving help on some projects, while the student has the opportunity to work in the industry and gain experience and contacts for future work. It’s a win-win situation.
